While deceptively slight in build (the unit measures only 6-1/2 inches in length and weighs just 4.1 pounds), the DeWalt is long on performance, delivering an impressive 1,550 in./lbs. of maximum torque with speeds ranging from 0-2,400 rpm and 0-3,000 bpm. Consequently, it can get into places larger units simply cannot reach, delivering powerful results without the added cumber of an extension cord or oversized frame. Of course, size isn't everything. The DeWalt is also built tough throughout, with an all-metal transmission, a durable magnesium gear case and a 1/2-inch hog ring anvil that accepts impact sockets with ease.
