In concrete applications, this hammer drill features a maximum 1/2-inch capacity, with an optimum range of 3/16 to 3/8 inches. The drill also features a high/low speed selector for high-speed drilling or high-torque applications, and a 360-degree side handle with depth rod that offers greater control and increased depth accuracy. DeWalt has designed the DW505K to be lightweight and compact (4.8 pounds; 13-inches long) for less user fatigue, and provides a convenient two-finger trigger for increased comfort.
