This exceptional Freud blade requires less energy to feed the material into the saw blade, and eases the strain on your power tool. The "fusion" tooth design gives glass smooth side finishes as well as a chip-free top and bottom during both ripping and crosscutting applications; and the Perma-Shield permanent non-stick coating reduces friction, protecting this thin kerf saw blade against corrosion, gumming and pitch build-up. This laser blade made from high-strength steel is built for long life and precision, and it comes pre-tensioned to remain flat through the shocks from cutting and stresses from turning at high speeds. Wow...I saw all the good reviews and was expecting an amazing blade...boy was I wrong. The thing did cut quickly and easily but when I looked at the edge of the board it was TERRIBLE! I would have to joint the board 1/16" to get rid of all the marks it left.

I am sure that my table saw is adjusted properly cause I just checked it with a dial indicator. I also look at the results I get from my Ridgid combination blade, which are like glass. The Freud is almost like what you get from a bandsaw blade but with burn marks to boot!

Maybe this blade needs a stabilizer to work properly, but I'm not going to buy one to find out if I can return this.

I checked the reviews before I bought this blade and many said how easy it cuts and how quiet. I agree. I've been ripping 4/4 quarter-sawn red oak on my Ryobi table saw and it slices through easily. Very clean cutting, only minimal sanding needed.

After all these years I finally bought a thin kerf ripping blade.I couldn't be happier.This blade is far beyond my wildest expectations.Rips through 8 quarter stock like it's cutting 1/4" ply.No burning, just smooth accurate rips........

This blade is fantastic. I used it to rip down several sheets of Jatoba veneer plywood for a shelving unit I was making, and it worked great. Very smooth edges, no veneer tearout, and very little to no burning.

Freud never lets me down been using these blades for twenty years. I running this on a Bosch 10" table saw ripping mostly 2x and 1x lumber with no problems at all. Highly recommend this blade.
