So far, so good. No groundhog revisits yet. July 21, 2008

I had a problem with a groundhog tearing up my garden. I went to a home improvement store to start getting some garden fence supplies and the guys there suggested "Deerscram" to spread around garden perimeter. Couldn't find any of that item locally and was recommended Repels-All...haven't had any revisits since. I had also followed other recomendations for ridding yard of groundhogs so may be combination of things (mothballs and ammonia in groundhog hole to make it unhospitable) but so far garden is growing undisturbed. I was surprised but it seems to work, I'd recommend it. Additionally I spoke to makers of "Deerscram" and they can't guarantee their product as it is would work for groundhogs but they are working on a groundhog repellant formula. Kudos to them for their honesty, I'd try their product if I were having a deer problem.
