We have used this to install fence, made job much easier, especially on an eight feet long fence..put it on one post to the other and there u go... perfect guide to ensure both post are level and of same height.. and used it for other home projects that needed long level... price is not as expensive as the ones we saw in stores. Thanks...

Value for Price - Can't be Beat January 17, 2008

Although Amazon has raised the price, this is an outstanding level and the price, although higher than before, can't be beat. It is a heavy duty aluminum beam with multiple double level vials. Nicely annodized in red, I'm using mine as a cutting guide for using skill type saws on cutting plywood panels. I'm really impressed with the product: quality, finish and structural design. If you are looking for a very nice, useable, long level, you'd be hard pressed to get a nicer one at almost any price.

My husband was in need of a 96" level. I had done several searches on the web and found them to be VERY expensive! I found this one and ordered it. My husband has done nothing but rave over this level! He said it is completely accurate and is COMPLETELY satisfied with it. I am too since we spent 1/3 of the price!!! Thanks Johnson Tools!

This level was exactly what I was looking for,being 8' long is great for leveling cabinets and aligning studs and walls.The price was an added bonus.I have paid twice this amount for my 6' levels.The workmanship is exceptional and accuracy is on the money.I hope to get years of use from this level.I have rated it 5 stars because of it's design,functionality and price,none of which can be beat.I recommend it highly.
