This is a nice looking, well made fan. I was concerned about buying this, or any other fan, because I have a sloped ceiling (only 1.5" in 12") and I couldn't tell from specs whether this would mount with the short down-rod (supplied) properly on a pitched ceiling. I wanted to use the short downrod due to limited ceiling height. No problem - the fan mounted fine with the short rod. It is quiet & moves air well - I am using in a 3 season porch 12x20.

Purchased 2 fans this morning for $129 per fan and this afternoon the price was reduced to $116 per fan. Amazon no longer provides price protection for items purchased during the first 30days.
